We understand that revenue is a key part of every organisation. Our gate line staff help to check that every customer comes through with the right ticket valid for travelling. In situations where a passenger does not have the right ticket or is travelling without a ticket, they help them purchase the right ticket from the ticket vending machines present at the station or point them to the ticket office.

 

In situations where the gates are faulty, they are trained to troubleshoot the gates to put it back to working conditions. Also, they assist passengers with faulty tickets.

 

They also play a major role in managing the crowds with the crowed control staff to avoid overcrowding on the station platforms. Give passengers information on journey times and in the situation of severe disruptions they advise customers on ticket purchases alongside displaying information about the network
